Each family is unique and so are the job requirements for domestic helpers. Employers should select suitable according to families’ needs. For example, employers could choose a more mature maid with relevant experience for taking care of infants. If for taking care of elderly or disabled family members, employers could choose a maid with nursing experience.

Apart from experience, we may also consider preferred job duties of the domestic helpers. Some maids love to take care of infants and accompany them. Some maids enjoy taking care of elderly people and chat with them. We believe if requirements from both sides are matched, we could achieve a win-win situation and yield twice the result with half the effort. Therefore, we will understand domestic helpers’ preferred job duties when they come to our offices in Hong Kong or overseas for better matching.

Nationality of foreign domestic helpers
Most of the foreign domestic helpers are from Indonesia and Philippine. Generally, Indonesians are unsophisticated with lower education level. They are willing to learn new things and obey. In contrast, Filipinos are well educated and speak fluent English.
